THE JUNEI HOTEL KYOTO
This project features bamboo handrails installed in a hotel using the cornered bamboo technique. This is a processing method in which slats split from the same bamboo culm are reassembled into an angled form, giving a sharp and modern impression distinct from ordinary round bamboo. While retaining the natural warmth unique to bamboo, it also offers a refined design quality, making it ideal for luxury spaces such as hotels and inns. The bamboo handrails combine durability with elegance, bringing the gentle comfort of natural materials throughout the space.
