This permanent showroom installation features flat-split bamboo made from gomadake, a distinctive variety of Kyoto bamboo. For this project, the natural flexibility of the bamboo strips was used to create a wave-like form. Placed as a backdrop to the central kitchen, the installation provides a striking visual accent that captures the attention of visitors.
