GARAKU
For this members-only bar in Tokyo, bamboo panels were used throughout the space to create a layered, luxurious atmosphere. Flat-split panels of dyed black with blurring bamboo were applied to the door, while black half-split bamboo panels lined the walls along the corridor and main area. The ceiling above the counter and booth seating features white bamboo culms, where the interplay of lighting and bamboo creates subtle shadows and a refined, immersive ambiance.
