Selective Provenance

At Takesada Shoten, we handle every step of the bamboo process in-house — from harvesting and splitting to final finishing. We currently work primarily with high-quality bamboo sourced from Kyoto and Chiba Prefectures.

Upon request, we can also use bamboo harvested from a specific region. Whether for interior finishes or landscape design, we are happy to support projects that prioritize local materials and the values of regional identity and local production for local consumption.
