Sumushiko is a wall and ceiling slatting made from 5 mm-thin, flat-split white bamboo strips, evenly assembled on a wooden frame. By arranging the strips at regular intervals, it creates a refined interplay of light and shadow, adding depth and a sense of calm to any space.

Evolving the traditional beauty of sudare into a modern design, Sumushiko harmonizes naturally with both Japanese interiors and contemporary environments such as hotels, restaurants, and residences. The soft, organic texture of white bamboo enriches interiors with a gentle, timeless atmosphere.

Standard frame sizes are available at 1000 mm in width and 2000 mm, 2500 mm, or 3000 mm in length. Custom dimensions and adaptations to various installation settings – such as walls, ceilings, or partitions – are also available upon request.
